Writing finish update

I didn't complete the deadline of the National Novel Writing Month's 50,000 word minimum by the 30th since I was away from the computer doing other things that didn't allow me to do much writing for about two weeks and I wasn't able to play catchup in time. I'm not too bummed out about it though, because I have the writing bug for now at least and am planning on continuing it until I'm taken away from the computer by the next set of holidays. Who knows, maybe by next November I will be writing the second installment.

On a side note, the novel now has a title, which came to me suddenly when I was brushing my teeth, go figure. It's called:

Sometimes Ya Just Gotta Drag: Fitzpatrick Files #1

I'm also happy to report that the three writing buddies that I met during my trip in crazy writing who were from New Jersey, Missouri and England all managed to complete the 50,000 mile mark, which is totally cool in itself but they are all now kicking me in the rear to complete mine, so I can't do any slacking off! I'm actually reading one of their novels and it's quite exciting. Maybe someday I can brag about knowing this person when they first wrote their first draft of their first book, who knows.

So I'm off to write more and anyone out there who would like to know my progress, please continue to gaze upon my word count widget I have installed in the same basic place I had the nanowrimo widget over there on the left.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS for getting 19.5K. That is alot of words for 2 weeks! I think it is a huge accomplishment & you should be VERY proud of yourself. I know I'm proud of you! I agree with your friends. Keep writing. You can do it!! It doesn't matter if nanowrimo is over, set the goal for yourself girl. You can do it. Then I can say I knew her when. LOL!

That is a very interesting title!

Have a great day Lyn!!
